Bitcoin from Canada
Confirmations, not instant settlement
A Bitcoin transaction is broadcast immediately and settles gradually: operators typically wait for a number of confirmations before crediting a balance, and each block takes around ten minutes on average. Under normal conditions that means a wait measured in tens of minutes rather than seconds — slower than Interac and considerably slower than a wallet.
The wait is not the operator being cautious for its own sake; it is what makes the transaction irreversible enough to credit.
The fee moves with congestion
Network fees are set by demand for block space, not by the casino. At busy times the fee on a small deposit can be a meaningful share of the amount itself, which makes Bitcoin a poor choice for small, frequent top-ups and a reasonable one for larger, occasional transfers. Checking the current fee estimate before sending is worth the ten seconds it takes.
Price movement between the ends
Where the casino balance is in Canadian dollars, the amount converts on arrival. Between sending and the final confirmation the price can move, so the credited figure may differ from your calculation — sometimes in your favour, sometimes not. Sending with a clear margin above any minimum is the practical defence, and the same applies in reverse on a payout.
Proving the wallet is yours
Payouts return to the wallet that funded the account, and an operator can require evidence that you control it before releasing one. Wallets hosted on exchanges that reuse or rotate deposit addresses make that proof awkward. Using a wallet you control from the beginning is the difference between a routine payout and an argument.
What stays the same
Identity verification, bonus terms and account rules apply exactly as they do for any other method. Bitcoin changes how the money moves, not what the operator is obliged to check.
What is on your side
Much of the safety of a payment through Bitcoin sits with you, not with the site. Turn on two-step verification for the account: it stops a withdrawal even if someone learns your password. Check the address in the browser before typing anything — fake pages copy the look, never the domain. Keep the account holder identical on Bitcoin and on 24Magic; mismatched names stall at the first withdrawal. And do not pass the transaction reference to anyone who contacts you first: 24Magic support asks for that number, never for your password.
Verification before the first withdrawal
Depositing is immediate, but the first withdrawal needs an identity check — that is the operator's condition, not a quirk of Bitcoin. Prepare photo ID and a proof of address in advance, and photograph the document so all four corners are visible. Once approved, the procedure does not repeat, and later withdrawals at 24Magic run without the extra pause.
